Marketing Copywriter

Role Summary:
The Marketing Copywriter is responsible for working cross functionally with many teams to produce creative and engaging copy. The Marketing Copywriter is in charge of writing direct to consumer copy as well as B2B communications. The Marketing Copywriter has a strong knowledge of digital marketing, e-commerce and social platforms. This role helps to define the inKind brand voice.

Responsibilities:
  • Write compelling and creative marketing material, campaigns, and emails to promote the product on behalf of our clients and to promote our brand
  • Collaborate with team members to develop the brand tone of voice
  • Demonstrate innovative thinking by creating scalable solutions that can be used across multiple brands/clients to help nurture customer relationships, convert sales, and grow lifetime customer value (i.e., customizable email campaigns, templated subject lines and CTAs, incorporation of hyper-personalization)
  • Support the Product team and write intuitive copy as the app evolves and new features are added.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current trends and actively seek out what is next, bringing fresh points of view and a clear command of relevance (right message, right place, right time)
  • Share knowledge, experience, and skills with other team members; working with design counterparts to ensure continuity across all touchpoints.
  • Manage multiple and competing work priorities and projects, demands, and changes, owning each task from concept to completion
    Skills/Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience
    • 4+ years of writing experience in a corporate or agency environment required, preferably as a copywriter for a major brand, e-commerce company, or startup
    • Creative and bold thinker with expert command of the English language (including spelling, grammar, punctuation)
    • Effectively communicate and present concepts and ideas
    • Adept at creating concepts and reinventing concepts to continuously support client's brands
    • Ability to write according to multiple clients' brand and voice
    • Experience working with common team collaboration and presentation tools such as Google Suite, Slack, Trello, Keynote, etc.
